エスコバルの初期の展覧会には、ブラジル、サンパウロのVideo Guerrilhaでの「The Signature of Los Rios」（2013年）、ブラジル、サントスのValongo International Photography Festivalでの「Transputamierda」（2016年）などがある。 2017年、彼はコロンビア革命軍FARCに関する作品をニューヨークのラガーディア・コミュニティ・カレッジ、リトアニアのカウナス・フォト・フェスティバル、Unseenアムステルダムで発表した。最近では、 2020年2月、コロンビア、ボゴタのBandy Bandy Galleryで「Los dias postumos de una guerra sin final」展を開催。エコスバルは、Days Japanの審査員賞（2017年）、POY Latamのニュースシリーズ部門第1位（2017年）、Hansel-Mieth-Preis（2019年）、Visa D'Or ICRC（2023年）、POY Latamのフォトジャーナリスト・オブ・ザ・イヤー賞（2023年）などを受賞している。 2012年、写真集『La ruta del condor（コンドルの道）』がボゴタのホルヘ・タデオ・ロサノ大学とカルダス大学から共同出版された。 最新の写真集『VERDE』は、フォトエディターのサンティアゴ・エスコバル＝ハラミーリョと共に2021年にRayaから刊行。 作品は『ニューヨーク・タイムズ』をはじめ、『シュテルン』、『GEO』、『Time Paris Match』、『LFI Magazine』などのメディアに頻繁に掲載されている。

【Biography】
Rios’s early exhibitions include The Signature of Los Rios at Video Guerrilha in Sao Paulo, Brazil (2013) and Transputamierda at the Valongo International Photography Festival in Santos, Brazil (2016). In 2017, Rios presented his work on FARC, the Colombian armed group, at LaGuardia Community College, New York, at Kaunas Photo festival, Lithuania, and at the Unseen Amsterdam festival. Rios’s most recent exhibition, Los dias postumos de una guerra sin final, opened at Bandy Bandy Gallery in Bogota in February 2020. Rios has won prizes including a Jury Award at Days Japan (2017), first prize in the News Series category at POY Latam (2017), the Hansel-Mieth-Preis (2019), Winner of the Visa D’Or ICRC (2023) and Winner of the Photojournalist of the Year at POY Latam (2023). In 2012, Rios’s photobook La ruta del condor (The Route of the Condor) was published jointly by Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano in Bogota and Universidad de Caldas. His most recent photobook, VERDE, was published by Raya with photo editor Santiago Escobar-Jaramillo in 2021. His work has appeared frequently in the New York Times and other media including Stern, GEO, Time Paris Match and LFI Magazine.
